This recording contains the 2nd Partita in D minor (BWV 1004) and the 3rd Sonata in C major (BWV1005). I own five different versions of the Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin not including versions for Guitar and Lute. I have found Lara St. John's version to be my favorite. She plays every phrase as if it were her last and plays them with a sensuality I havn't found in other recordings. Check out Lara's home page at http://www.larastjohn.com.
